About Me

I love making things better. 

I'm inquisitive. I ask questions and analyse the answers. I'm imaginative. I take those answers and create new solutions. 

Events are amazing (ok, so I'm biased). But really, they are second to none in engaging with audiences and establishing true connections whether that's face-to-face, virtually or a hybrid of the two...when they're done well. I've worked internationally with companies from 1-15,000 employees, from startups to agencies to global corporates. I'm very passionate about leading and establishing teams to either break into the crazy world of events organising or bringing fresh ideas to existing event programmes . I'm currently based just outside of Manchester, in the rainy but fabulous North West and working for my clients across the world. Check out the services I offer here

Life outside of work? It's pretty great, with a mostly perfect balance between a bit of city and countryside to keep me entertained. Happiest when I'm travelling, eating great food, and trying new things (most recently this was having a go at flying a plane!).

Leading a busy team of 14 delivering events and comms projects for 20 core accounts. Overseeing all project delivery; account and project management, budgeting, forecasting and income, account development and client relationships. Leadership and team personal development, focussing on career progression, process implementation and improvement. Resourcing and recruitment across in-house and freelance support to get the right people in the right roles. Ensuring fresh culture and behaviours are part of everyday and supporting the team to maintain work life balance in the intense world of the events industry within agency. Strategic and long term planning, bringing together heads of departments for regular catch ups.

Focus on leadership and strategy to ensure a global team of 26 across APAC, EMEA and USA deliver Arm's two most high profile flagship events virtually alongside large scale exhibition presence at multiple external shows. Planning and forecasting for a return to in-person events from 2022 including assessing and reviewing hybrid options.

Head of Internal Events

Leading a global events team to deliver Arm's Internal events programme internationally. Our team of eight deliver c. 40 key 100-3000 attendee events for employee experience and global content and strategy communication. Working with senior stakeholders across various departments throughout Europe, USA and APAC. Two - three year budget and strategic planning to grow and evolve the internal events calendar. Researching and implementing innovative event technologies and processes to develop sustainability and engagement.
